Help us Open The Esther School!
We are in the final sprint to open The Esther School by September 2012! We need everyone’s help to make this dream a reality. For the past three years girls across North America have been working to raise funds for the school, and we are so excited to see how God is going to provide in the coming months.
Let’s Make Some Noise!
First, you can participate in our new BRING change to bring CHANGE campaign.
Get your girls and your entire congregation on board each month from October-March by taking a loose-change offering. These loose-change offerings, often called noisy offerings because you pass metal containers to collect coins, will BRING CHANGE to orphans in Chongwe, Zambia through The Esther School.
Or, over the same six-month span, invite your girls and members of your congregation to collect change at home for the campaign. Download patterns (Pattern 1 | Pattern 2 | Pattern 3 | Pattern 4) for making and decorating coffee tin banks, and then at the end of the six months, collect the cans and send a check to the Service Center as you celebrate what God is doing in Zambia!
Hand ‘n Hand
You can also participate in Hand ‘n Hand! Every North American Club that participates in the Hand ‘n Hand program increases the likelihood that GEMS will be able to recruit a donor to contribute $500 to help build the school! As a way of expressing thanks to all the clubs that participate in Hand ‘n Hand, their names will be added to The Founders Wall at the school.
