Bethel University

Bethel University is a four-year Liberal arts institution that provides a distinctly evangelical Christian philosophy of education. Bethel’s campus, situated on 231 acres of wooded hills on the shores of Lake Valentine in suburban Arden Hills, is just 15 minutes from both downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul, providing easy access to the many cultural, educational, and recreational opportunities of the Twin Cities. Bethel University’s natural beauty will provide the perfect, intimate setting for a conference weekend!

Meeting Space and Auditorium
All meetings and workshops on campus are conveniently located in covered, connected academic halls, making it simple to access and find your way around! All mass meetings will be held in the beautiful Benson Great Hall. The Auditorium can accommodate 1,700 people so we have plenty of room for LOTS of GEMS counselors! Benson Great Hall is one of the best performance and recording centers in the upper Midwest so it will be ideal for our mass meetings and praise and worship!

Dining
A new state of the art Dining Hall was just completed in the spring of 2009. You’ll be sure to find something that fits your appetite! With various serving stations featuring salad, pasta, Asian, pizza, a grill, desserts, and more – you won’t leave hungry! A separate coffee house is located next to the dining hall with extended hours for snack or beverage purchases.

Accommodations
Conference attendees will stay in air-conditioned residence halls – all of which accommodate two women per room. There are a limited number of suite-styled residence halls with three bedroom apartments. These apartments will house six women and contain one bathroom with two shower stalls and two toilets, several sinks, and a large dressing area. The remaining housing units are community style halls with twelve rooms per hall, community style bathrooms with four bathrooms and showers located on each floor. All accommodations are in close proximity to Benson Great Hall. All residence buildings have community rooms that include small kitchens and coin operated washers and dryers.
