The Area
Chicago, also known as The Windy City or The Second City, is the third largest city in the United States, with a population of nearly three million people. Located on the shores of Lake Michigan in the heart of the Midwest, Chicago is home to world-championship sports teams, an internationally acclaimed symphony orchestra, renowned architecture, award-winning theater, and much more.

Time Zone
Chicago is in the Central Time Zone; one hour behind the east coast, one hour ahead of the mountain time zone and two hours ahead of the pacific time zone.

Climate
Seasons in Chicago are fairly unpredictable. Sudden changes of weather and large daily temperature ranges are common in Chicago. During the summer, expect moderately high humidity and occasional thunderstorms. Daily high temperatures in Chicago usually stay between 78°F and 92°F (26°C to 33°C).

Taste of Chicago 2012!

The world famous "Taste of Chicago" Event is going to be occurring in downtown Chicago from July 11-15, 2012! The Taste of Chicago is Chicago's biggest event and is the world's largest outdoor food fest. Taste of Chicago 2012 will mark the 33rd anniversay of the event and expects over 3 million people to attend throughout the weekend. Hosted in Grant Park from 11am - 9pm daily those who come early to experience Pre-Conference Tours in Chicago will have a blast participating in this event!
