Local Information

The Area
Minneapolis, the City of Lakes, is Minnesota’s largest city and the hub of a large metropolitan area of three million residents. Saint Paul is the state capital and Minnesota’s second largest city. Downtown Saint Paul is about ten miles east of downtown Minneapolis and a quick drive from the airport.

Time Zone
Minnesota is in the Central Time Zone; one hour behind the east coast and two hours ahead of the west coast.

Climate
July daytime temperatures averages 83 degrees (F) for a high and 60 degrees (F) for a low. The easygoing days of summer enjoy daylight late into the evening, with abundant sunshine to brighten your day. With that being said, Minnesota weather does have its irregularities, so it’s important to bring layers of clothes for varying temperatures. Bring lightweight clothing with a light jacket or sweater for the evening and a rain jacket - just in case!
