Balancing Caring and Consequences in Your GEMS Club, Presented by Shelly Freeman

Getting tired of the way kids treat each other, treat property, and treat you?! Disrespect, teasing, harassment, bullying, vandalism, and physical violence are far too common in our communities, schools, and churches, and it all affects the confidence, security, and productivity of both young people and leaders. Adults can maintain a climate of caring and still hold students accountable for their actions, but it begins with YOU taking responsibility for your behavior when you see disrespectful or hurtful behavior happening. Join us for a discussion of the relationship between caring, consistency, and consequences. This session is guaranteed to empower and encourage any adult who works with children of all ages!

You desire to grow and become more of who you were created to be. Join us in this workshop as we discuss what it means to grow in your own faith, to seek out women who can develop you, and how you can use your gifts and abilities to be a mentor to someone else.
