Lend a Hand Lend a Hand

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

1 Timothy 4:12

God’s call to serve others in His name isn’t just for adults. You can make a difference, too! In fact, God specifically says that young people should set an example for others through their words and actions. So, what are you waiting for? How can you serve God today? Remember, with His help – anything is possible!

Homemade Cards

February:

You don’t have to leave your home to lend a hand! Make a cheerful card for someone who is lonely or in need of encouragement. If you don’t know anyone, ask your parents or a pastor at your church for suggestions. Draw pictures or write encouraging words to the person. Decorate the card and add Bible verses that might lift his or her spirits.

If the person lives nearby, hand deliver the card and let the person know you are thinking about him or her. Otherwise, drop it in the mail and then follow up in a month or so with another note to see how they are doing.
