Map Bookmark
What You Need:
An old map (make sure you have permission to
cut a rectangle out of it)
or a piece of paper that
looks like a map. (Note:
Stores that sell scrapbook
paper often carry
‘map’ paper.)
A sheet of cardstock paper
Scissors or a paper cutter
Ruler
Hole punch
Glue stick
6 inch length of ribbon
Steps:
1. Cut the map and the cardstock paper into rectangles that are 2 inches wide and 7 inches long.
2. Glue the map rectangle on top of the cardstock
rectangle.
3. Once the glue has dried, punch a hole at the
top of the bookmark (the hole should be about a
½ inch from the top and 1 inch from each side).
4. Fold the ribbon in half. Taking the two ends of
the ribbon, thread them through the through the hole. Pull
them through the loop until secure. |
