What You Need:
• Three slices of white bread with the crusts removed (we used Wonder® bread)
• White craft glue
• Lemon juice
• Cold cream
• Food coloring
• Paperclip
• Waxed paper
• Stretchy bead string

Step 1: Rip the bread into small pieces and place in a bowl. |

Step 2: Add three tablespoons of white craft glue to the bowl. |

Step 3: Place three drops of lemon juice into the bowl. |

Step 4: Rub a small amount of cold cream on your hands. This prevents the sticky mixture from sticking to your hands. Step 5: With your hands, work the bread, glue, and lemon juice mixture into a dough ball. Make sure all the ingredients are well mixed. |

Step 6: Decide how many different colored beads you would like. Separate the ball into that many pieces. Step 7: Add food coloring to achieve the desired color of each piece. Be sure to work the color through the entire mixture. Hint: Rub a small amount of cold cream on your hands again to prevent the mixture from sticking to you. If you are making more than one color, repeat this step with the other pieces. |

Step 8: Remove a small piece of dough and roll into a ball. Set each completed ball onto a sheet of waxed paper. Continue this process until you have used all the dough. Step 9: Allow the dough to dry for an hour-and-a-half to two hours. |

Step 10: Use a straightened paperclip to make a hole through the middle of each ball. Wiggle the paperclip around a little bit to ensure that the hole will be large enough to fit the string. |

Step 11: Allow the beads to dry for 24 hours. |

Step 12: String your beads onto the stretchy cord to make a bracelet or necklace. |
