Step 1: Using craft foam, cut flowers in three different sizes. Then, using these three as patterns, cut additional flowers in each size. |

Step 2: Stack smaller flowers on top of larger flowers to create a 3D effect. Use white glue to hold layers in place. Use small mirrors for the center of each flower. Variety is good; have some single tier flowers, some double, and some triple. |

Step 3: Measure the height of your closet, doorway, or window - wherever you are going to hang your curtain. Then add 8-12 inches to that measurement. Cut strands of fishing line to that length, one for each strand of your curtain. |

Step 4: Tie the strands to the curtain rod, spacing them a few inches apart (you want to give the flowers room to swing without getting tangled. ) Tape the rod to your work surface, then tape down the strands, using several small pieces of masking tape. (Try to work on a dark surface - it will be easier to see the fishing line while you are working.) |

Step 5: Create a pattern on each strand with different sized flowers and mirrors. It's ok if the pattern isn't the same for every strand, in fact, it looks better when it's not! Slip them under the fishing line in your chosen pattern, front side down. |

Step 6a: Apply small dots of hot glue to the fishing line on the backs of the foam flowers. Then top with another flower of the same size, front side up. You should now have a "sandwich" of two flowers so that when the strands float freely in the breeze there is no "backside." Repeat with all of the flowers. Using the same technique, glue the mirrors to the fishing line. Step 6b: Gently un-tape your rod and strands and hang your curtain in your chosen space. You might need to have a friend help you with this step so the strands don't get tangled. |
