Chocolate Caramel Drizzled Popcorn:

Apples and Dip

 

What you'll need:

15 caramels, unwrapped

1/2 tablespoon butter

1 tablespoon water

6-7 cups popped popcorn

2 squares of semi-sweet baking chocolate

How to make it:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
  2. Place caramels, butter, and water in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for one minute and then stir. Heat for 30 seconds and stir again.
  3. Put popcorn into a large bowl. Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn. Stir to evenly coat.
  4. Spread the caramel popcorn onto a greased baking sheet. Bake the popcorn for four minutes; stir. Bake for an additional four minutes or until the mixture looks golden brown.
  5. Place the chocolate squares in a small microwave-safe bowl. Heat for one minute; stir. Heat the squares for an additional 20 seconds.
  6. Drizzle the chocolate over the hot caramel popcorn on the baking sheet. Stir. Let it cool. Then, leaving the popcorn on the baking sheet put it into the refrigerator for one hour. Break the popcorn into pieces. Enjoy!
