Merry Mitten Cards

Step 1

Fold 8 ½ x 5 ¼ white cardstock in half with the short ends together. Glue the colored 4 x 5 cardstock to the front.

Step 2

Trace the mitten from your magazine onto your patterned piece of paper. Cut out the traced mitten.

Step 3

Punch seven holes 1/4 inch apart into the cuff part of the mitten.

Step 4

Cut 14, six inch pieces of yarn. Take two pieces at a time and fold them in half. Insert the yarn folds through the holes. Thread the yarn through the loop and pull tightly. Repeat for each hole. Trim the ends of the yarn to be the same length.

Step 5

Glue the mitten shape onto the front of the card. Tada! A beautiful Merry Mitten Card.
