Steps:

1. Cut the paper into 4 inch by 4 inch squares.
   
2. Fold down the top inch of the poster board.
   
3. With the top folded down, make two hole punches through the poster board.
4. Each hole punch should be about an inch from the edge.
   
5. Place the paper inside the fold of the poster board.
   
6. Using the holes in the poster board as your guide, hole punch through the paper.
   
7. Thread the ribbon through the holes and tie in a bow.

Add a special touch to this gift by giving a pen or a few crayons along with the notepad.
