Step 1:

Follow the instructions included with the lantern to turn it into a sphere.

Step 2:

Place your lantern in a large bowl. The bowl will help keep the lantern in place while you are painting.

Step 3:

If you wish, use a pencil to mark and design the areas you wish to paint. Use caution when marking the lantern with a pencil. The paper is very thin and can easily rip.

Step 4:

Begin painting your design. Allow the paint to dry in one area before you begin working on another area.

Step 5:

Continue painting until you are finished with your lantern.

Step 6:

Hang your beautiful work of art!
