What You Need:
• Safety pins: we used approximately 100 7/8" pins
• Seed beads: to ensure that the hole is large enough to fit on the pin we recommend using 11/0 seed beads
• Stretch bead and jewlery cord: we used .7 mm

Step 1: Open a safety pin and string as many as beads as possible while making sure that the safety pin will still close. We used between 9 and 11 beads on each pin. You can use all one color per pin or mix them up. Repeat this step until you have all your pins finished. |

Step 2: Cut two 14" lengths of stretch jewelry cord. Apply masking tape to one end of each cord. The masking tape needs to be thick enough to ensure that the safety pins will not slip off the cord. |

Step 3: For the second safety pin, place it on the cord 'upside down' so that the pins are being placed on the cord in an alternating pattern. |
