Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Trail Bars:

Trail Bars

 

What you'll need:

3/4 cup brown sugar

3 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup vegetable or canola oil

1 egg

2 cups quick-cooking ots

1 1/5 cups of flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 cup chocolate chips

How to make it:

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, beat brown sugar, butter, oil, vanilla and egg using a mixer on medium speed until combined.

Add the oats, flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.

Cover a cookie sheet with non-stick spray. Press the mixture onto the pan. Bake for 17-22 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 15-18 bars depending on size.
