What is ACTS?

The Area Counselor Training and Support Program is a method of offering valuable training and support to counselors right in their own communities.

The purpose of the ACTS Program is to... 

1. 1) Equip, encourage, and inspire GEMS counselors, Club Coordinators, and other support staff to build an effective, relational ministry in their churches and other Christian organizations.
   
   2) To promote and foster the development of new GEMS Girls' Clubs in all areas.
   
   3) To create opportunities for girls in individual clubs to participate with other GEMS in large group events.

What area are you in?

Within the thirty-six different areas, a minimum of two-counselor-training workshops are conducted annually and one large-group event for girls is offered every other year. Click on your state or province to meet your area's Area Coordinator and Leadership Trainer. Email them and ask about the next training opportunity or event that will be hosted near the place that your club calls home.
