GEMS Girls’ Clubs and FaithGirlz (a part of ZonderKidz – the children’s group of Christian publisher, Zondervan) are sponsoring an afternoon specifically designed for moms and their tween girls.
Author Nancy Rue will spend time talking to girls about their bodies, their world, and their faith–dialoguing about things that matter to them while helping girls see the true beauty of believing! Praise and worship leaders, Colleen and Grace will also be participating. Nancy will be hosting a short sessions just for moms while Colleen and Grace lead girls in fun, interactive time of singing. Not only that, but there will also be giveaways, fun crafts, and snacks for moms and their daughters to enjoy!
Each attendee will also receive a gift bag with a free book and have the chance to meet Nancy!
One of the main goals of this event is to open dialogue between moms and their daughters. Women were given resources and tools with which to continue these all-important conversations with their girls. Check out the Faithgirlz website for ticket information!
