GEMS Girls’ Clubs co-sponsored The Beauty of Believing Tour at Sunshine Community Church. Produced by Faithgirlz (a part of ZonderKidz – the children’s group of Christian publisher, Zondervan), this event is specifically designed for tween girls and their moms.

Author Nancy Rue spent time talking to girls about their bodies, their world, and their faith – dialoguing about things that matter to them while helping girls see the true beauty of believing! Not only that, but there was also giveaways, fun crafts, and snacks for moms and their daughters to enjoy!

Each attendee received a gift bag with a free book and had the chance to meet Nancy!

One of the main goals of this event is to open dialogue between moms and their daughters. Women were given resources and tools with which to continue these all-important conversations with their girls. Check out the Faithgirlz website to see upcoming tour dates and to learn more!
