Since 1972 girls in GEMS Clubs all over the globe have been reciting Micah 6:8 together as they delve deeper into what it means to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with their God. GEMS continuously strives to show girls that walking the Micah Road is not just a personal endeavor; rather, it inspires humble service and grace – walking the Micah Road requires that girls let their lights shine to others all along the way.

Coming to various cities across the U.S. and Canada, The BIG Light Tour is a dynamic, moving time of worship that will help girls understand how to let their lights shine as they journey down the Micah Road. Why is this so important? Because, contrary to the all-too-familiar song, “This Little Light of Mine,” girls have a BIG light to share with others as they walk!

The BIG Light Tour will get girls thinking about issues of justice, mercy, and humble walking by having them participate in a variety of activities. And, through inspirational video presentations, girls will be exposed to all kinds of valuable life lessons. Led by Colleen and Grace, girls will learn new songs as well as accompanying actions and creative movements. In addition, girls will be asked to join in different activities throughout the day that will plant these truths in their hearts. From donating food to writing letters of forgiveness, the BIG Light Tour will help Micah 6:8 come alive for all who attend.
