Awareness Level (Grades 1-3)

Girls in the Awareness Level have five different activity books to choose from. Each book contains ten important lessons from Scripture as well as a unique and fun manipulative that reinforces specific concepts. The Awareness Level books are: God's Kids, Hearts Reaching Up to God, Hearts Reaching Out to Others, Women of Faith, and Clothes Designed by Jesus.

Sparkle, a magazine designed especially for this age level, is also available for first through third graders. Sparkle is a full-color magazine that is published monthly (October-March). This exciting, age-appropriate magazine contains many theme-related activities, crafts, stories, and games.

Discovery Level (Grades 4-6)

Curriculum at the Discovery Level encourages girls in fourth through sixth grades to delve deeper into their faith. The Discovery Studio Badge Book presents 100 different badges for girls to work through as they begin to understand their unique, God-given design. Each badge aims to help girls explore their talents, gifts, and interests while developing a broader, more relevant view of the world.

SHINE brightly Magazine is also a great tool for Discovery Level girls. This exciting full-color magazine is published nine times each year. In addition to engaging Bible lessons, SHINE brightly includes motivational articles, games, crafts, stories from readers, Dear Emma, and much, much more.

Advanced Level (Grades 7-8)

Reaching out to girls in seventh and eighth grade, the Advanced Level program is a very important aspect of GEMS. Seeking to encourage growth and foster self-esteem, the Advanced Level curriculums utilize a small group format that offers girls a safe environment for sharing their feelings, concerns, frustrations, and questions.

Finishing Touches! is a contemporary Christian charm-course that focuses on different aspects of inner and outer beauty. Getting Dusty, an alternative curriculum for seventh and eighth graders, speaks directly to our culture’s influence on girls – helping them know how to choose God’s plan for their lives.

Kingdom Kids (4 & 5 Year Olds)

This coed curriculum is designed to help build a firm faith foundation in the lives of four and five year olds while also introducing them to club life. Each lesson seeks to teach kids about god and how to live a life that pleases Him. Using a learning center approach, Kingdom Kids allows children to move to different activity areas and is great for churches with family night ministries, MOPS or moms’ morning out programs, as well as homeschool and other settings.

Kingdom Kids provides two years of programming, and while the second year builds on the first, each can also be used as a stand-alone curriculum.

Kingdom Kids is co-published by GEMS Girls’ Clubs and Cadets for boys.
