Being a GEMS Counselor – mentoring, motivating, and inspiring girls – should not be a heavy burden to bear. We want you to be excited and equipped for your work with girls, and these training opportunities will give you all the resources you need to gracefully carry this important assignment! GEMS training events pair teaching with abundant refreshment and encouragement for your own life!

The Annual Counselors' Leadership Conference is an inspirational, dynamic, three-day, experience that allows counselors from across the United States and Canada to meet for training, renewal, encouragement, fellowship, and fun. Regional Retreats are one and a half to two day events given by GEMS staff, Leadership Trainers, and Area Coordinators to provide training, encouragement, and inspiration in a particular region of the continent. Two or three of these events are planned each year for areas at a distance from the conference site.

ACTS Workshops are put together by an Area Coordinator (AC) and Leadership Trainer (LT) each fall and winter/spring and are offered in each of GEMS' thirty-five areas. These workshops are designed to train, equip, and motivate counselors. Find out more!
