Woodhaven Christian Reformed Church in Granville, Michigan created an African market complete with huts and goods. They used these funds raised to support GEMS ongoing efforts in Zambia.

GEMS from York Maranatha Christian Reformed Church in Cayuga, Ontario held a dessert auction to raise money for The Call to Africa. Since the event took place on Valentine’s Day, the ladies who attended got some extra-special treatment including chocolate roses and a punch bowl. Girls served coffee, tea, and punch to their guests and assisted the auctioneer. “They were very proud of their baked goods!” reports Diane Visser, Club Coordinator.
