Annual
Theme
2008-2009 :: Walk the Micah Road
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
Micah 6:8
God is a God of justice, love, and mercy. In His infinite wisdom and love, He has set forth requirements for His children to follow: to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with Him. For Christ followers, this is known as walking the Micah Road. This year’s theme focuses on the walking instructions God gives all of His children in Micah 6:8, and all of the theme materials have been developed to help show girls how to purposefully live out God’s commands and become activists for Christ. Micah 6:8 has been the driving verse and aim of GEMS Girls’ Clubs for many years, and as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary we are excited to spend the year highlighting these important truths.
